Annapolis boasts beautiful views, waterfront living and activities, and a strong sense of community, which is only heightened within our own paddling family. We are lucky to live in a town that is fueled by local businesses, entrepreneurs, and fantastic food finds. Our little city has rallied together to support one another through pandemic shut downs, worldwide inflation, and the smaller challenges we face day to day. That’s why we want to take a second to give a shout out to our preferred partners. Our partners are all small businesses in Annapolis whose generous sponsorships and contributions help to keep us afloat (literally and figuratively). It really does take a village, and we’re grateful to be a part of this one! 

Rise Up Coffee

Known as one of Annapolis’ favorite coffee roasters, Rise Up Coffee has had a meteoric rise since their start on the Eastern Shore in 2005. From one modest food truck to now 12 thriving locations, Rise Up has been voted ‘Maryland’s Best Coffee’ and is committed to offering the finest, artisanal roasted, sustainable small batch coffees. All Rise Up coffee is Certified Organic + Certified Fair Trade. Their aromatic brews fuel all of our sunrise paddles and many other events. Stay tuned for our 2024 sunrise paddle series. 

Rehab 2 Perform

If you’re recovering from an injury, dealing with pain, or simply looking for a trainer that will help ensure that you reduce the risk of re-injury and are empowered with the tools you need to be physically active, and achieve performance in the areas that matter to you. A hybrid between traditional physical therapy and personal training, R2P provides an emphasis on education and physical competency. We cater to athletes of all backgrounds – from beginners and youth to professional athletes and weekend warriors alike. With 8 locations in the DMV, we highly recommend our friends at R2P!

Always Ice Cream

Always Ice Cream Company was founded by the owners of Annapolis Ice Cream Company; best of Annapolis, Maryland since 2004. Owners, Adam and Mark Cohen were tired of seeing the same “old style ice cream parlor” and it was time to experience a new style ice cream shop. They are not only dedicated to top quality ice cream, made with only natural and simple ingredients, but creating a fun place to enjoy a sweet treat! The recipes that have been passed down from three families, over 25 years have become a way of life for the ice cream makers at Always Ice Cream. Stop by for a cup or cone at one of their 4 locations!

Vida Taco Bar

Vida has the best tacos downtown! Vida is passionate about offering a distinctively delicious fusion experience, using locally sourced “Farm to Taco” ingredients whenever possible. Their line up of margaritas and other seriously yummy cocktails are made with juices that are freshly squeezed daily, and are the perfect addition to a hot summer day. Just a short 1.5 mile walk downtown enjoy Vida after a paddle at our Eastport location! Stay tuned for special partner events next season.

Parley Room

Parley Room is a 1920s style cocktail bar opened in November 2022 by John Miller and Andrew Fox. Owners strive to deliver fresh and awesome food and drink, creating classic cocktails along with amazing charcuterie and shared plates. Parley Room is located in Downtown Annapolis at 25 State Circle within the newly opened Capital Hotel. With views of Main St. and State Circle, Parley Room is a cozy spot to grab a custom coffee, cocktail, or chef special while you enjoy classic Annapolis views and vibes.

Pherm Brewing 

Founded by two friends based on their love of art, live music and quality beer, Pherm Brewing is just outside Annapolis in Gamrbills, MD. Pherm features weekly events like trivia, comedy nights, karaoke, yoga, and more. With a rotating list of brews, kid and dog friendly environment, and rotating food trucks, Pherm is a guaranteed good time. Be sure to give them a follow to stay up to date on all the fun. Dock Street Bar and Grill

Centrally located in the heart of downtown Annapolis, Dock Street is well known for its no-filler crab cakes, extensive beer and cocktail selection, and a distinctive brand of hospitality fostered by a friendly, tight-knit staff. As a part of history, the once-upon-a-time city jail turned local pub, offers some of the best views of Ego-Alley. Dock Street is known as a local hangout perfect for sports fans, Navy midshipmen, and even those seeking the night life scene. Owner Mike Wroten’s motto is that “beer tastes the same everywhere, the difference is the vibe you create”. Grab a beer, order a crab cake, or book your next private event at Dock Street!

Eastport Kitchen 

Understanding the ability for food to bring people together, owners Tony & Celia Moynagh sought to create a space in their community that offered delicious cuisine with locally sourced ingredients. Eastport Kitchen is open 7 days a week with a full breakfast and lunch menu, but you’ll also want to check out their separate, seasonally rotating dinner menu. With indoor and outdoor seating, catering, and food that you can’t resist, Eastport Kitchen is one of our favorite places to grab a bite to eat! You can even try the CAPSUP breakfast burrito!

Living it Up LLC

Max is a contractor and Baltimore native who has years of firsthand experience maintaining, repairing, and upgrading homes in historic neighborhoods. Leave it to Max to cover all of your home improvement needs, be it repairs from general wear and tear or home inspections, to white roof installations — his knowledge and expertise is guaranteed to improve the quality of your home.

Rasa Juice

Located right off picturesque State Circle on Maryland Avenue downtown, Rasa is a female-owned juice spot that has everything you need for a total body boost. Whether you’re looking for a quick treat or a full juice cleanse, Rasa has options for every palate and every need. We love recharging after a yoga session with a freshly made juice! Stay tuned for our 2024 class schedule!
