Winter Mode Activated – How we stay stoked off-season!
It’s that time of year where the winter weather rolls in, the water gets colder, the shop doors have closed for the season, and our boards anxiously await the warmth of spring so we can paddle again. That is, of course, not the case for our die-hard paddlers out there in their wetsuits. However, you’re spending your winter season, we wanted to share what goes on behind scenes when the shop isn’t open.
Many people ask, “What do you guys do in the winter?” and that question has many answers. From the moment the seasons ‘ends’ we begin planning. The first couple months involve our End of Season Board Sale and then planning for Black Friday through Cyber Monday deals. These two fall events and sales were a great success and for that, we say, “THANK YOU!”
We’re going into SEASON 10 this coming summer season and we couldn’t be more stoked to start planning for the big celebration. In the midst of end of season sales and holiday deals, we’ve been prepping our 2023 paddle memberships to get them ready to launch. It’s almost time to share these 2023 memberships with you, but of course, this is just a teaser.

You can get excited for rentals, buddy passes, discounts on events and fitness classes, discounts on merch, and even more! We’ll be launching these soon and know many of you are just as excited as we are. You can buy a gift card now and use it towards your 2023 paddle membership when they go live.
Along with paddle memberships, we’re planning some super fun events and even a pre-season party, so stay tuned for a save the date.
While we hope you stay stoked for what’s to come, we’re busy fulfilling online orders, creating our online bookings, perfecting the paddle memberships, and promoting our gift cards. We’re also getting together our amazing team of fitness instructors, shop staff, and preparing a Meet the Team series coming in the new year. You can also look forward to new YouTube videos to learn all the beginner paddle tips, enjoy “off-season” fitness videos, better understand your equipment, and be prepared for year 10!
