NEW LOCATION ANNOUNCEMENT
As the 2018 season came to a close last fall, the morale was a little different as we knew it was going to be our last season at the South Annapolis Yacht Center. In our first 5 years Capital SUP transformed a decrepit building from 1908, into a bustling paddle center for the community and visiting paddlers from afar.
The re-development process at SAYC was slated to begin over the winter months. We were unsure of where Capital SUP would relocate for the 2019 season so, we moved everything from the shop into storage for the winter. As the trucks and vans were loaded with boards, life jackets, and paddles, we came across so many memories from the first five years. All of the customers that have walked through those sliding doors, who became friends and family. All of the meals under the pavilion, the countless sunsets, all of the laughs, and even tears. Saying goodbye to our old Capital SUP home and starting new has been bittersweet. The closing of a chapter… 
With that, we are excited to announce our new location for this summer will be at the Annapolis Maritime Museum’s Ellen O. Moyer Nature Park! Over the past couple of months, we have been working with the team at the Maritime Museum to come up with a plan to partner with their education center. To continue our passion for getting people on the water while educating them on the importance of restoration and clean water. This location will be able to house all of our services: Rentals, Lessons, Race training, SUP yoga and fitness, Grom Camps, and Yappy Hour! We are excited about the transformation and making it feel like home. All it needs is the Capital SUP touch and all of you walking through those doors to create new memories and get the positive vibes rolling!
