We couldnโt be more excited about the 2024 paddle season because this year is bigger and better than ever! We have a ๐๐๐ ๐๐๐๐๐๐๐๐ opening at Ferry Point Marina by The Point Crabhouse in Arnold!
We are STOKED to expand to the Broadneck Peninsula and bring our premier paddle services to a new area. For 10 years, Capital SUP has operated on the Annapolis side of the Severn River. Capital SUPโs mission is to connect people to the water through the sport of kayaking and stand-up paddleboarding, so adding a location off the Magothy in Arnold will provide access to new waterways. This location boasts over 2 miles of calm waterways between the two creeks, Mill Creek and Dividing Creek. Our paddle members can enjoy their unlimited rentals at all three locations and can expect to see some of their favorite events returning for another season. Paddlers can look forward to Eco-Tours, Sunset Paddles, and Fitness Classes at
The Point location, and can explore our other events, like Yappy Hours, Ladies Night, Mommy & Me, Sunrise Paddles, and more, at our Eastport and Quiet Waters locations.
This new location at The Point in Arnold will also offer stand-up paddleboard and kayak rentals, lessons, and pop-up events. You can enjoy the ease of paddling without worrying about the stress of equipment. Let us help launch you into your next paddling adventure to explore Mill Creek and Dividing Creek, full of wildlife and new water views.
Our Race Training team is sure to enjoy the paddle experience on Mill Creek and Dividing Creek as well as it comes with the opportunity to continue out into the Magothy River and Bay. Stay tuned for our pop-up race training and races at The Point. Truly, this expansion will provide the entire community with so many new opportunities for paddling, exploration, adventure, and leisure time on the water.ย
Being right next to The Point Crabhouse also comes with a lot of perks. Paddling and kayaking can be hard work! Refuel with an orange crush, tuna tacos, crab dip, or fresh steamed crabs after your paddle to keep the fun going. As many of us locals know, The Point Crabhouse can have quite the wait in the summer so, rather than sitting around, take your wait time to the water and enjoy an hour paddle until your table is ready!
