8/3 The Essentials: This session will start on the dock covering proper technique and how to get on your board. As we progress to the water, we’ll discuss navigation as we slowly cruise around Back Creek.
8/6 Technique & Skills: We’ll build off of what we learned and dive deeper into what we’ve previously learned, focusing on board control, turning, and getting comfortable on the board.
8/10 Weather & Safety: We’ll discuss how to assess weather conditions, rescue techniques, and basic safety.
8/13 Advanced Technique & Skills – This session will build off of everything previously discussed. Tailored to the participants, we typically review past techniques, work on advanced skills, try workouts to get ready for joining the race training program, or cruise around exploring outside Back Creek.
