Learn How to SUP in Annapolis
Learn how to stand-up paddle board from one of our professional SUP racers or certified instructors. Our 60-minute SUP lessons start on land with a brief history lesson on stand-up paddle boarding followed by equipment overview, board handling, and entry/exit instruction.
The water portion of the lesson covers paddle and stroke technique, stance and form instruction, water safety, and an introduction into turning. All equipment included!
We also offer 15-minute Mini Lesson add-ons with the purchase of a SUP rental! Quickly touch up on your SUP skills to be more confident on the water during your rental.

Intro to SUP
Learn to paddle in the Intro to SUP program with Coach Scotty. This clinic will cover basic paddling techniques, maneuverability, safety, navigation, and understanding conditions. This program is tailored to beginner paddlers who are looking to become recreational paddlers & navigate the waterways without a guide. With Scotty’s years of experience teaching SUP and our Race Training Program, we are stoked to introduce more paddlers to this awesome sport.

Intro to Race Training
An introduction to SUP Racing and technique. Are you a Paddle Member looking to get into Race Training this summer? A new racer who wants to refine their paddle stroke and skills in a small group setting?
A Crash Course to prepare you for Race Training, this clinic will cover more advanced SUP skills including refining stroke, steering, turns, and learning how to get more power into your stroke.
We will warm up with the regular race training group, to get a feel for what the set-up and warm-up is like. Then, we will launch after them for a 60-minute lesson in a small group setting. The clinic will take place near Race Training, so you’ll be able to see the racers passing by during the clinic, and get a feel for the pace and workout!

Learn How to Kayak in Annapolis
American Canoe Association Course
Learn everything you’ll need to know to become a recreational kayaker including safety, navigating the waterways, paddle stroke & form, and planning for a kayaking adventure safely. Our ACA certified instructor, Anna Youngk, will be teaching a 4 hour certification course, “Intro to Kayaking” to beginner paddlers. We will provide all the necessary equipment, or you can bring your own kayak to learn in.
